AE 481/482 Reflection

The year-long capstone project is a great opportunity to integrate five years of knowledge in studying Architectural Engineering. Being an intern at The Neighborhood One Residences helped me to obtain this project and the project team were very helpful in providing all of the needed information. Throughout this year, I have learned how to analyze a project completely and propose alternative methods in certain areas that could improve the project in general. The capstone project prepared me for the real world and to face it with confidence.

CPEP Reflection

The Capstone Project E-Portfolio (CPEP) website is an effective tool to present the completed work for the senior thesis project. The website is a professional way for everyone to view the work done by presenting the progress made from selecting the project to choosing the alternate methods.

ABET Outcome Assessment

Note: While great efforts have been taken to provide accurate and complete information on the pages of CPEP, please be aware that the information contained herewith is considered a work‐in progress for this thesis project. Modifications and changes related to the original building designs and construction methodologies for this senior thesis project are solely the interpretation of Reem Alzaabi. Changes and discrepancies in no way imply that the original design contained errors or was flawed. Differing assumptions, code references, requirements, and methodologies have been incorporated into this thesis project; therefore, investigation results may vary from the original design.
